4th Annual Technology Fun Run

Our 4th Annual Technology Fun Run is coming up on November 4th. Everyone is looking forward to enjoying a day of fun, exercise, prizes and music.

Pledge Forms

Pledge forms will be handed out to students on Friday, October 23. Pledges may be given as "lump sum amount" or "per lap". If every student raises $65, we will be able to reach our goal of bringing some more features of education technology to our school. Both sheets of the pledge form (no money) should be returned to the teachers on Monday, November 2.

New this year - Online Donations! - Donations can easily be made online using PledgeStar. Download the informational flyer and follow the easy step-by-step instructions to set up a donation page for your student.

Pledge sheets with number of laps run and money owed will be sent home after the Fun Run on Wednesday, Nov. 4. Pledge money envelopes should be returned by Thursday, Nov 12. Checks should be made payable to Mohr PTA (tax ID# 94-3274369). All donations are tax deductible.

Fun Run Parent Coordinators & Volunteers Needed!

We need assistance with a few tasks prior to the event and we count on your support. Coordinators must be available during the time their child's grade runs (see table below) and they need to tally up laps and record totals on the pledge forms, which should take about another hour. Other tasks include:
  • Deliver t-shirts and pledge forms to classrooms.
  • Assist teachers to help students incorporate their "spirit color" (see table below) into their outfits.
  • Escort classes to Fun Run track and back.
  • Hand students a silly band for every lap that they complete.
  • Tally silly bands and record the number of laps on students' pledge forms

We are recruiting 3 parents from each class and a few extra volunteers for the water stations. Check out the Fun Run volunteer sign up sheet to see all the available slots. You can also contact any member of the Fun Run Committee to either volunteer or inform us which classroom(s) you will be helping.

T-shirts & Spirit Colors

The t-shirts look great! They will be handed out prior to the Fun Run. Every class in the most spirited grade level will get prizes, so bring out those colors! Each grade has been assigned a "spirit color" (see chart below). Students can wear caps, ribbons, socks or anything else they want in that color. The t-shirts might be tie dyed or autographed ahead of time depending on what teachers determine.

1:50 - 2:30 pm Fifth Blue

We have planned a fun-filled day of school spirit, music and exercise for the kids to remember. This is an event totally driven by us parents with all the proceeds going back to our school for technology. Please, be part of it!
