We hope you had a terrific weekend! The next two weeks are going to be very busy, with a number of events planned. First, the Mohr Tech Trek will be held this coming Friday morning, Oct. 20th.
Second, our PTA general meeting will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 25th from 7-8:30 pm in the library. Our PUSD Superintendent, Dr. David Haglund, will be at the meeting to introduce himself. If you have already received the evite, please respond, or you can RSVP on-line now.
Third, our annual Mohr PTA (Halloween) Fun Fair will be held on Friday, Oct. 27th, from 4-8 pm. This year's event will be the most exciting version yet, with a haunted house (not scary), pumpkin patch, a number of carnival-style games, face painting and tattoos, and food! We'll start selling tickets soon. In the meantime, if you are interested in helping out, please signup.
Finally, over the past few weeks, some of you have shown interest in starting and/or participating in Destination Imagination (DI). We'll have a meeting in front of the school -- on the benches near the flag pole -- next Monday, Oct. 23rd at 6:30 pm to discuss forming teams, so the kids can get started! If you have not signed up, click here.
Have a great week ahead!

Box Tops for Education - Please remember to submit Box Tops for Education certificates to help our school earn cash this year! Box Tops are small, rectangular certificates that can be found on a number of popular products, including General Mills cereals, Kleenex tissues, and more. See the Box Tops website for a full listing of eligible products .
Please place all Box Tops into a baggie labeled with the name of your child's teacher and grade level. They can be submitted at any time throughout the year to either your child's teacher or the front office. I will keep track of the submissions and the class that submits the most by year's end will receive a special treat!
The first submission deadline for the current school year is in early November. In addition, you can earn even more cash for Mohr by downloading the Box Tops for Education app from the App Store and scanning your register receipts. We can earn up to $20,000 for Mohr via the Box Tops program, so let's get to work! Thanks for your support! Contact Sherry Wight with questions.
