Spencer Murdock, a former Mohr student needs our help with his Boy Scout Eagle Project. Spencer will be holding a sports equipment drive at Mohr from May 14th to May 29th.
He will be collecting new soccer balls, basketballs, footballs and playground balls, which will be donated to Camp Go Beyond, a free summer camp for children diagnosed with Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis. Feel free to drop off your donations in the Mohr office or Mohr Library. Spencer will also be collecting donations during Open House on May 17, 2018 in front of the MPR. If you don't feel like shopping you can always donate a gift card to Walmart or Big Five Sporting Goods.
Thank you for your help and support.
Students who pre-ordered a yearbook during registration will receive their yearbook during the last week of school. Yearbooks will be delivered to the classrooms and teachers will hand them out to the students at their discretion.
If you did not pre-order a yearbook and would like one, we will have a limited number of books for sale after school on Wednesday, May 30 at 2:50 pm by the flag pole in front of the office. Books will be sold for $30 each on a first-come, first-served basis until we run out. Cash or check (payable to Mohr PTA) only.
The Mohr PTA Field Day will be held on Thursday, May 31st from 9:15 am - 11:30 am.
Please sign up to volunteer! Our 650 students need you to keep this much-loved event safe and fun! We need over 130 volunteers to properly monitor the kids out on the field. Only "cleared" volunteers can participate in school-related activities. If you are not sure of your current status, please check with your child's teacher in advance.
If we don't have enough volunteers signed up by Monday, May 21st, Field Day will be impossible to organize and hold and we will be forced to cancel it. Thank you in advance for your support!

Box Tops for Education - Please remember to submit Box Tops for Education certificates to help our school earn cash this year! Box Tops are small, rectangular certificates that can be found on a number of popular products, including General Mills cereals, Kleenex tissues, and more. See the Box Tops website for a full listing of eligible products .
Please place all Box Tops into a baggie labeled with the name of your child's teacher and grade level. They can be submitted at any time throughout the year to either your child's teacher or the front office. I will keep track of the submissions and the class that submits the most by year's end will receive a special treat!
The first submission deadline for the current school year is in early November. In addition, you can earn even more cash for Mohr by downloading the Box Tops for Education app from the App Store and scanning your register receipts.
